어쩌면 막연하고 두렵기도 한 인간의 기술들... 정말로 인간과 같이 생각하는 인공지능 로봇이 나올까요?
미국 "보스톤 다이나믹스"라는 한때 구글의 자회사였던 곳에서는 2족보행 로봇이 연구 개발되고 있으며 유튜브를 통해 자사의 연구개발 진척상황을 공개하고 있습니다
구글의 알파고는 2016년 3월 9일 바둑의 최강자 이세돌 9단과 겨뤄 4승1패로 승리하였습니다
세계각국은 인간없이 운전하는 자율주행차를 준비중이며 곧 상용화단계에 돌입한다고 합니다
어떠한 형태로든 인간과 닮은 로봇은 점점더 발전되고 진화해 나갈것입니다 , 결국 미래에는 인간의 능력을 뛰어넘는 로봇들이 나타겠죠
거의 대부분의 창작물이 그러한 미래를 디스토피아적인 세계에 맞춰 표현하고 있습니다
미래에 나타날 인간을 뛰어넘는 미지의 존재에대한 두려움을 자극하려는것일수도 있는데요
로봇 캐티 어썸의 세계관은 그러한 미래를 좀더 세밀하게 생각해보고 그려내고 있습니다
정말 프로그래밍된 로봇이 스스로의 생각으로 인간을 배반하고 지배하려고 할수 있을것인가?
만약 인간이 멸종된다면 그러한 로봇이 원인이 될수도 있을까? , 아니면 그보다 환경파괴나 자원고갈 자본주의의 구조적인 문제점이 더 큰 원인이될 가능성이 크지 않을까 만약 그렇다면... 그래서 로봇만이 광활한 우주에 인간의 후손으로 살아남는다면 어떻게될까? 라는 생각에서 이게임의 세계관을 만들고 확장하였습니다

로봇 캐티어썸은 세계관의 초반부내용을 다루고 있어 후반부내용은 소개드릴수 있을지 모르겠네요 , 그래서 미리 공개하자면 후에 13기체의 로봇들은 인간의 명령으로 인간이 살수 있는 새로운 행성을 찾아 우주로 나가게 됩니다 , 정말 운이 좋아서 후반부 스토리의 내용을 담은 시리즈후속작이 또 만들어진다면 그게임의 제목은 "로봇 캐티 벤젠스"입니다 , 그 이야기에선 인간의 명령을 따르려는 무리와 인간을 명령을 무시하고 로봇들이 인간보다 더 진화된존재라고 믿는 그래서 그들만의 세계를 만들려는 로봇들의 전쟁이 일어납니다. 그때가 되면 캐티는 인간편의 로봇무리의 사령관이됩니다(지금은 궤도사령부의 하사이지만..) 그래서 현재 게임의 제목은 로봇 캐티 어썸 ~
